Meredith Jurica is the founder and CEO of Makeup Junkie Bags. Before starting her business she was a Speech-Language pathologist after obtaining her BA and Master's degree in the field. She departed from her job to stay at home with her two young daughters. An avid lover of makeup, she was tired of makeup bags not meeting her standards and decided to get crafty in her spare time. It turns out she was solving a problem many people were having. Starting with one simple sewing machine at her kitchen table, Makeup Junkie Bags was born. her company now has a retail website and wholesales to thousands of retailers nationwide. She was featured on Shark Tank, as well as Good Morning America. All of her bags are Handmade in Texas and carry a lifetime guarantee. Meredith has continued to expand her lines over the last three years to include handbags, cosmetics, and other accessories. She just launched an apparel line in the fall of 2020.
