BITS will be Oma Wilson of Edward Jones & our speaker this month is:
Meru Hunter McMahon - our 2019-2020 Treasurer & proud owner of Success Pro, LLC helping business owners, executives and individuals improve their bottom line by crafting strategies together with her clients; bringing awareness, to reduce chronic financial stress. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance. Honored to be the Inaugural Treasurer for the ABWA Woodlands
Chapter 2019-2020 and is a proud Member of The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce. Meru is also honored to be a mentor for the SCORE organization.
Besides being able to help save money for others as a career, she utilizes the same cost-saving strategies in her own life to use for her favorite hobbies, traveling and spending time with her children. Described by her friends as “Persistent in all that she does” she takes that to her hobbies and family, as well. She enjoys many hobbies: camping, reading, stand-up comedy, documentaries and true events-based movies are always at the top of her playlist.
Born in Kazakhstan, Meru is now a proud Texan, moving to The Woodlands in 2006. To her surprise she likes Country music, even though it is so foreign to her Kazakh roots, probably because she is now a “Texan Y’all”. She speaks three languages,
self-taught in English.
Married to Brian who helps balance her with his calm nature, Meru is a proud mother of 3 children. The oldest of her brood, a daughter, is studying Architecture at Syracuse University. Two sons, of which the oldest is transitioning into middle school and youngest is attending elementary school.
