About the event

Having been Mayor of Montgomery for the past 4 years, Sara is an active leader not only in business but in the political arena.

Politically, Sara has promoted transparency, accountability, and conservative financial policies. She works with City Council in leading Montgomery during the challenging and ongoing growth of Montgomery and Montgomery County.  As a conservative Republican, she believes transparency and accountability are key to government by and for the people. She invites the input of community leaders and of all citizens. She believes accountability at all levels of government should be in place.

Professionally, Sara has spent the past 18 years as a sales executive in software, hardware, and integration products and services.  She works with all levels of staff, from executive, development, and operations to understand business needs which helps ensure communication from leadership is processed and serviced accordingly.

After graduating high school in Round Rock, she attended Sam Houston State University, studying criminal justice, before transferring back to Austin to attend Concordia University, where she was recruited into the high-tech industry. In 2013, her family moved to Montgomery, where she, her husband Brad, and daughter Sloan fell in love with the hometown atmosphere and historic significance of landmarks found in Montgomery.

Sara is a member of the National Charity League, Rebel Joan of Arc Daughters of the Confederacy, Lake Conroe Area Republican Women, Hispanic Conservatives of Montgomery County, Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce, and is also a Board Member with YES to YOUth and Walker-Montgomery CDC, in addition to her associate memberships with MOCO Republican Women, North Shore Republican Women, Fish Creek Republican Women, The Woodlands Republic Women and East MOCO Chamber of Commerce and East MOCO Republican Women.
