About the event

Do you have a safe place? A place to pour out your heart and no matter what comes out you know that you are loved and accepted; unconditionally.  Have you ever heard, hurt people hurt people? Maybe you have experienced this first hand. The way we protect ourselves from hurt and pain is through control.  Did you know healed hearts don't control, they love? We have a choice to love or hurt. Join us as Speaker Mo Hineline walks us through a workshop together to identify hurts through triggered events.

Mo was born on a military base in California and on a plane to Italy one month after her birth. She experienced a traumatic event at 13 months old and was extradited to Texas.  This was the start of a spiraling cycle of unbelief, deception, and abandonment.  With each new experience, she began to build walls around her heart to keep herself safe from hurt and pain.  Her thought was, "If I keep everyone out, I won’t be hurt." She did not know this included God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit; She was deceived.  She joined the military at 18 yrs. old.  Where the wall began to get massive while wanting to be loved desperately.  At the same time not giving anyone a chance to love her.  When Jesus began to soften her heart, little by little, she began to let His love flow in and love herself.  Allowing her to love others and they love her. This sounds simple, but it took her asking Jesus for help; to come into her heart.  She had to say out loud, “Jesus, I believe you when you tell me I am safe.”  That was it for her, those simple words, she did not believe she was safe.

Today, she lives in Texas with her husband, Clarke of 21 years and they are both active in their church community.  She enjoys playing bunco, walking ½ marathons, the beach, podcasts, reading biographies, hikes, gardening, cooking, decorating for holidays, and spending time with family.
